I design, build and test the front-ends of the applications/websites Bright Interactive produces. Recently my focus has been on creating React/Angular front-ends to deliver beautifully crafted and user tested front-end applications.

Andrew has never fought a bear, been shipwrecked or seen a UFO but he has lived and worked in Brighton since 2000.
He enjoys sea views and working with talented people so feels at home with Bright Interactive and makes sure the office runs as smoothly as possible.
Angela is our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She is a data-driven yet creative marketer with extensive expertise in all aspects of marketing and growth strategies.
She has over 13 years of marketing and cross-cultural management experience and is part of both London Tech Advocates and the Marketing Donut’s Expert Panel.
Originally from Sweden, she has lived and worked abroad for as long as she can remember and has experienced a variety of industries and cultures across the world.
Prior to joining Bright she built and scaled the European marketing team from scratch and successfully implemented the EMEA Growth strategy for Stack Overflow, the worlds largest site for software developers.
She also ran the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Europe and Africa for three years.
As well as being a keen yoga and gym enthusiast she loves travelling and would like to have been to 100 countries in her life time.

Angus is a software developer with experience ranging from Android and Arduino to full-stack enterprise development. Despite the name and the strong appreciation for both Irn Bru and whisky, he hails from the stormy shores of Cornwall.
Anthony writes tooling that keeps our software infrastructure ticking.
He's pretty good mates with Python and Ansible, and has a love/hate relationship with the espresso machine.
Ant automates everything. He didn't even write this. : )
Ash is one of our technical account managers and works on our busy customer support team
Ben studied at Reading University where he graduated with a 1st class masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Outside of work he can be found taking photos, starting numerous DIY projects, and pretending to be enthusiastic about football with his kids.
Ben Collins is a Scrum Master at Bright Interactive, and leads our Custom Team. In 2014 he graduated from the University of Bristol with an MEng (2:1) in Computer Science, before starting his career with Bright Interactive - initially as a developer. Before joining us on a permanent basis, Ben worked for the company as an intern on two separate occasions.
Outside of Bright Interactive, Ben runs Student Jailbreak - provider of SMS tracking systems for charity hitchhike events. He also has a passion for fundraising, and helped to raise over £400,000 in four years as an active member of Bristol RAG.

Carla is our Finance Administrator and has over 10 years experience number crunching in London, Australia and New Zealand. She is currently studying for her AAT level 2 certificate. When she's not thinking about numbers, Carla is a bit of a gym bunny. She also has a nice line in Christmas jumpers and related paraphernalia.
Caroline is responsible for the people processes at Bright Interactive including recruiting the right people, creating an environment within which people can develop and share their talents and ensuring we have fair and motivating systems in place. She is an active encourager of the more off-beat office activities such as book clubs, LAN parties and festival events.
Caroline has a degree in English Literature and Language with Psychology from Birmingham University. She started her career in advertising before specialising in HR and she now has 25 years of experience, 10 of which have been spent at Bright.
Charlie heads up the Customer Service team for our Asset Bank customers. He has been part of multiple growing SaaS companies and is passionate about using modern principles, tools and of course great people to deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. When he's not doing that, he enjoys playing guitar and banjo and generally enjoying seaside life!
Chris joined the company in 2016 and brought with him a wealth of experience from his background working as a consultant, with particular specialisations in business analysis and change management. At Bright he is a member of our Professional Services team and works as a consultant for Asset Bank, delivering training and consultancy services to our clients.
Clint is part of the technical team and is responsible for Asset Bank software installations, data migrations, software upgrades and assists our busy customer support team with technical queries. Clint has over 10 years’ experience working in similar technical roles.
Away from work, Clint enjoys spending time with his children, 80's action movies, the pub and has a weakness for fried chicken - He tries to counteract this with running - he has twice run the Brighton marathon.
Emily joined the Customer Services team in June 2018.
Eric has almost 20 years experience in delivering business benefit using web technology and software engineering - working at IBM, Quidnunc, Find a Property, and running Bright Interactive for the past 15 years.
He's grown from graduate to experienced consultant through many roles: from test specialist, software developer, technical project manager, systems architect and director. This breadth of experience has given Eric insight into all aspects of web engineering and a solid understanding of how technology needs to meet real-life requirements -- and how to spot when it won't!
Outside of work, Eric takes a keen interest in education and learning, from home educating his two sons (a day a week), running Plumpton Geek Club and building weird and wonderful things with the Raspberry Pi and electronics.

Jo is the Finance and Payroll Manager and has been in the Business Support Team at Bright since 2010. Prior to working in finance, she spent many years working in academic and social policy research, specialising in large-scale quantitative research analysis.
She has an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey, a 1st class honours BSc in Information Technology and Society from the University of Portsmouth and AAT Level 4 from Brighton City College.
Karl joined the team in July 2018.
Kate is a Scrum Master and Project Manager in Bright Interactive's custom development team. Since graduating from the University of Cambridge, Kate has built-up over 7 years experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst delivering consulting and software projects to a range of public and private companies. Most recently she was a project manager at City and Guilds Kineo, delivering customised open source learning management systems to a variety of large organisations.
Kevin has 8 years of web development experience, including a work placement at IBM before joining Bright Interactive.
Kevin graduated in 2006 with an M.Sc. in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems from the University of Sussex. He also gained a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
Lloyd is a software developer at Bright, bringing experience from a range of organisations in both Brighton and London. He regularly attends software and agile meet-ups in Brighton.
Outside of work, Lloyd can be found attempting many DIY projects, including making a raspberry pi cluster, and building remote control planes.
Marco is one of our developers working on the Asset Bank side of the business. Previously he has worked as a freelance engineer and web designer for a variety of companies, gaining valuable commercial experience.
Marco studied at the University of Bologna where he gained both a 1st Level Degree and a Masters Degree in Computing Science Engineering.
Martin has over 18 years experience in the software development industry. For the first 6 years he worked as developer for a software consultancy in London and San Francisco. For the last 12 years he has been running Bright Interactive.
His experience covers all aspects of the specification, architecture, design, development and project management of highly usable web applications and websites. His technical background includes a wide range of programming languages (including Java and C++), relational databases, Java Application Servers and the implementation of Digital Asset Management Systems.
Martin has a particular interest in applying lean principles to software development (through use of Agile and Lean Startup techniques), and in a leadership style that avoids a traditional top-down, hierarchical structure in favour of self-managed teams.

Matt is one of our technical leads, working on the build activities on our projects for the Asset Bank side of the business. Having worked in software development for 12 years, his skills include: Java, ASP.NET (C#), Python, Perl, object-oriented design and database design.
Matt studied at Sussex University where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science.
Nick is a fan of natural history; has an MSc in Bioinformatics; is the current holder of a handful of local mountain bike Strava KOM's.
Owen mans our help desk offering first line technical support, recipe tips and hilarious anecdotes. He has over 10 years experience in Software Project and Account Management and a BA(hons) in Urban Planning which he's never used. Owen enjoys spending time with his two young children, spending time away from his two young children, reading and wine.
Patrick has over 20 years experience in the ICT industry. Prior to joining Bright, Patrick worked as a Business Analyst for 4Delivery, a consortium comprising United Utilities, Costain and Montgomery Watson Harza, carrying out improvement works on behalf of Southern Water.
At Bright Interactive Patrick works within the Asset Bank Customer Services Team and looks after the hosting infrastructure, gets involved with pre and post sales technical consultancy, technical product support, software deployment, upgrades, server and data migrations.
Patrick studied at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (B ICT)
Paul has 15 years of experience in the software industry, with 6 years at Bright Interactive and 9 years working for Experian QAS. In his previous role, Paul managed the organization's external facing websites and intranet. At Bright Interactive he is involved in sales and management. In his spare time, Paul likes reading and gaming.
Rich works in our Asset Bank delivery team and has over 5 years experience in technical customer support. He has a passion for new technology and is always on the lookout for ways to deliver projects more effectively. Prior to joining Bright Interactive, Rich managed the support team at job board software specialist, Madgex.
Outside of Bright Interactive, Rich develops custom Wordpress sites with a little help from technologies such as Foundation, Sass and Gulp. He's also a keen cyclist and enjoys the occasional run.
Ross is the Sales Manager for our Digital Asset Management system, Asset Bank. Prior to joining Bright Interactive 7 years ago, Ross ran his own business importing Japanese cars to the UK, in particular, the retro-looking Nissan Figaro. In addition to cars he's a bit of a language aficionado; speaking English, passable French, a smattering of Japanese, some choice Russian phrases and he is fluent in Canadian!
Ross either cycles or runs the 6-mile round trip commute to work each day; the wheels & heels approach! He's also learning to play the mandolin and continually trying to improve his 5k and 10k running times.
With a diverse industry background and particular strength with travel companies, Stewart combines technical experience from web development, database management and IT projects with a sales and marketing focus.
Vic is our Employer Brand & Engagement Manager. Prior to joining Bright Interactive in February 2016, she held the role of Head of Client Services for a Brighton based digital agency where she managed a number of key accounts as well as a team of talented account managers.
Vic has enjoyed a varied career over her time on this planet, with jobs ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous - doughnut filler to fish monger...debt collector to bean packer - She’s never afraid to take on a challenge and now focuses her energy on building on our employer brand.
Her obsession with D-Z list celebrities and game shows of the 80's and 90's has in the past raised concern within the team, however, she has assured us that her 'research' goes no further than 'mild' online stalking. We’re yet to be convinced.
Zé is driven by his passion for learning anything that's interesting, especially if it's science or ancient history and for having fun. Combining these interests is something he pursues with relish in his social life. He has a knack for languages and is currently a student of Mandarin. He loves collective storytelling and runs some ongoing Dungeons & Dragons games, is a regular at the gym, runs the seafront when the sun shines, enjoys growing plants, and is also lucky to occasionally be given the chance to travel the world performing as a Pauliteiro, a traditional Portuguese dance with sticks.
