Standards

To make sure that everything we produce is of high quality we have a number of standards and guidelines, including Java and HTML Coding Guidelines, to which our developers must adhere.

The result is code that is clean, efficent and easily understood by other developers. This ensures that our project teams work together well, and produce websites and applications that are easy to debug, extend and maintain.

During the build we will ensure that the HTML pages conform to the HTML and CSS standards set by W3C, and that HTML code is well structured. This is important as it ensures that your website is compatible with more browsers (and therefore increasing your audience) and it means that the pages are easier to maintain. We have developed a number of websites that conform to the Government's Web Guidelines (and e-GIF) and the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
