Sales Executive
Bright Interactive is a leading technical web development consultancy with a strong portfolio of clients both in the UK and internationally. We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our sales team in Brighton, to further develop the business of Asset Bank, our highly successful Digital Asset Management (DAM) product.
The role, which is predominantly office based, will involve generating new business opportunities and maximising the revenue opportunities with our existing clients for Asset Bank.
Working closely with our Sales Manager, you will be involved in the full sales process, for example:
- Responding to enquiries and RFIs, pitching to potential clients, writing proposals and negotiating agreements
- Identifying and evaluating potential clients
- Developing relationships with a wide range of clients from blue-chip corporations to smaller companies
- Generating ongoing revenue from existing clients through selling premium features and consultancy
- Improving existing, and creating new, lead generation methods including running campaigns
You will have solid experience of:
- Developing new business for web/software solutions, either DAM applications or products of similar technical complexity
- Managing client account relationships
- Successful sales presentations
- And a keenness to learn and improve your skills.

Quality and Support Manager
Bright Interactive is a leading technical web development consultancy with a strong portfolio of clients both in the UK and internationally. We are currently looking for Quality and Support Manager to work closely with our Operations Manager. This will include working with customers and our team to achieve successful delivery of projects on time, to budget and to client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for Customer Support, clients relationships, processes, resourcing and profitability
- Co-ordination of Testing, resourcing and process improvement activities
- Finance administration for Customer Support projects and retainers
- Project co-ordination for small projects and retainers
Example tasks include:
- Encouraging clients to join support
- Producing reports on the health of the department including SLA achievement, client feedback and profitability
- Managing frontline staff and providing support updates to directors
- Providing and managing proactive support initiatives
- Representing the client’s perspective within the project/support teams
- Championing quality through testing, project reviews and process improvements
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have previous customer support experience, preferably at a managerial level, experience of working in a busy office environment and excellent communication skills. Ideally, applicants will also have experience of project life-cycle including testing, knowledge of content management systems and an understanding of how web consultancies work.

Web User Interface Developer
Are you a web user interface developer with enthusiasm, dedication and an eye for perfection? Would you enjoy working in a team environment with like-minded people by the sea in Brighton?
Bright Interactive is a forward-thinking company that has a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients nationwide. We are looking for a new team member who will be responsible for building user interfaces for websites, intranets and web applications, working with our developers and graphic designers.
The successful applicant is likely to have a degree level qualification in a technical subject and may have some work experience. The ability to produce high-quality HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX to create layouts is essential for the role. A sound knowledge of web accessibility best practices is necessary as is familiarity with the W3C guidelines and standards. The role requires proficiency in hand-coding HTML/CSS, and, experience with image editing software such as Photoshop or Fireworks, plus client side libraries such as jQuery.
If successful you will receive excellent on-the-job training and, depending on your skills and interests, the potential to get involved in many other project activities such as UI design, graphic design and front-end programming. Starting salary is competitive and includes the company bonus scheme. Your salary will be reviewed annually with rises based on your performance.

Analyst Architect
Bright Interactive is a leading technical web development consultancy with a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients both in the UK and internationally. We are currently looking for an experienced Analyst/Architect to take responsibility for architecting and developing complex web applications. This will include leading the technical teams to achieve successful delivery on budget, to deadlines and to client requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Take the technical lead for the delivery of custom web solutions, from requirements analysis, through specification, technical design, build, test and onto launch.
- Use agile techniques to effectively engage and communicate with clients and the wider project team, to uncover and analyse requirements, and to demonstrate our specification and progress through the build.
- Co-ordinate the technical design and delivery of software solutions to match client requirements (taking into account factors such as scope, budget, usage patterns, and longevity).
- Work with our project management team to manage the technical aspects of project delivery and relationships with key clients.
- Help to evolve the company’s software development expertise by initiating research into new technologies and integrating these into further projects as appropriate.
- Act as the champion for quality, leading the way by producing superb coding and mentoring others to achieve the same.
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have excellent technical, communication, team management and client skills. Significant commercial experience working within a variety of client sectors and with complex, technically challenging projects is essential.
You will have worked on range of software platforms, including web, and you will have several years commercial experience of the following technologies:
- Java with application frameworks, such as Struts and Spring
- Enterprise scale database systems, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
- Java Servlet Containers, such as Tomcat
- Apache and IIS Web Servers
In addition it would be an advantage if you had experience of:
- Python
- .NET
- GNU/Linux Operating Systems, such as Debian and RedHat

Software Developer
Bright Interactive is a leading technical web development agency that is looking for a highly motivated software developer to join its talented team. Based in Brighton, we have a rapidly expanding portfolio of clients nationwide.
We are looking for a software developer who can demonstrate real enthusiasm and dedication, and who enjoys working in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will be capable of:
- developing software in modern object oriented languages, for example Java, python, .NET
- designing well structured relational databases

Freelance Graphic Designer
We are looking for a designer who can demonstrate real enthusiasm and creativity, whilst accurately interpreting the client brief. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mature and diversified design portfolio, showing a range of styles including design for large corporations and organisations. An understanding of usability and accessibility is vital to the role as is the ability to translate brands to effective online formats.
The successful applicant is likely to have a good design degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. At least three years of work experience in web/interface design is essential. A good understanding of all aspects of the web design process is key to success in the role i.e. from client liaison and conceptual development, to information architecture, visual design and production.
The right candidate can expect to be involved with a variety of interesting projects with the option of a regular retainer if it suits both parties.
